Cartrell Daniels, youngest of 2 children was born June 26, 1983 in Los Angeles where he fell in love with music and acting at a young age. Even though he grew up in Los Angeles some of his earlier influences were from the east coast. He was a huge fan of the emcees and producers coming out of New York. From the likes of Nas, Pete Rock, Large Professor, RZA, DJ Premier, Q-tip, Mobb Deep and so on. His other major influences were Dr. Dre, Outkast, Daz Dillinger, DJ Quik, Ice Cube, Kurupt, 2pac and many more. As a lover of film and TV he also composes music for various projects. Some of his favorite composers include John Williams, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore and many others. These days you can find him at a random coffee shop choppin up beats or in line ordering a burrito from the local Mexican restaurant.
