Kobe Banks

Kobe Banks is a producer born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, with over 10 years of experience as an Artist and Producer. Kobe draws plenty of his inspiration from other music he's grown up on, such as the 2000-2015 Hip-Hop era, or video game OSTs dating back to the first PlayStation 2 he was gifted from his parents at a young age. Kobe was also invested heavily in the choir at his church with his siblings, Chris and Kyra, up until 2008 when he started guitar lessons. Kobe's passion for guitar came from playing Rock Band 2 with his siblings, and the childhood band they had, which was named 'CK5'. After some time, Kobe began playing guitar in his church every Sunday as well as at different churches, until he went to college in 2018.

When enrolled at Winthrop University, Kobe made more of a name for himself as a producer by winning both beat battles he entered. Kobe first won a beat battle hosted by <a href="spotify:artist:6F9M9IjvizLuFrLZSg7E0R" data-name="Chris Punsalan">Chris Punsalan</a> which was streamed on Twitch on October 29, 2021. The second battle Kobe won was hosted by Winthrop University and its student union, with the battle being the 1st Annual Beat Battle held by the school. The event took place on the day after &#39;The Love Tape&#39; dropped and a month before he graduated. Kobe has been excited about what 2026 has to bring for his catalog and hopes you are around to witness it.
