Tretura is an Oklahoma-based hard rock and metal band blending the power of 80s metal with modern hard rock and progressive influences. Formed in 2019, the band focuses exclusively on original music and high-energy performances driven by experienced musicianship.

The current lineup includes Scott Butler (lead vocals), John Leewright (guitar and vocals), Christian McClellan (lead guitar), Dave Cole (bass), and Matthew Kensinger (drums). Their combined influences and long-standing musical chemistry create a distinctive and aggressive sound.

In 2020, Tretura recorded a self-titled four-song demo and was featured in Pose Magazine as a rising band. Their debut full-length album, Rise, was released in April 2022 and received international radio and podcast airplay. Singles from the album, including Rise and Red Light, aired on the Raven Reveal Show on 99WNRR in early 2022.

Originally formed as a three-piece, Tretura evolved through key lineup additions that expanded their sound and creative range. With the addition of bassist Dave Cole in 2021 and lead vocalist Scott Butler in 2025, the band entered a new chapter while remaining rooted in its original vision. Tretura continues to build momentum through recording, regional performances, and worldwide streaming distribution.
