Trewa is a progressive folk rock/metal band based in Como (Italy).
Whilst not straying too far from the characteristic folk roots of the founders of the genre, Jethro Tull, Pentangle and Fairport Convention, their music is heavily influenced by metal and hard rock sound.
The music explores varied and traditional sounds from klezmer, country and traditional medieval, to celtic, Norse and Middle Eastern.
The sound has a progresive rock touch that creates an evocative imaginary of a wild world
of legends of mythical beasts, all in a sublime setting of unspoilt nature.
