Born in Italy and based in Berlin, Tristano is the musical alter ego of Tristano Pala — an eccentric composer, vocalist, flutist, guitarist, and producer.
Tristano’s unique brand of funk’n’roll brings color and energy with a humorous twist. His music is a bold blend of groovy electro-funk hits that are both psychedelic and unpredictable.
Catchy hooks in retro hues – Tristano’s live performances light up the dance floor in a high-voltage jam of analog instruments over the pulse of electronic beats.
Tristano’s highly anticipated solo debut LP My 1st 3 was released in 2022 and he is currently preparing his upcoming EP.
Among his other other works, Tristano wrote two original tracks for Vectronom, a music-based video game co-produced and published by ARTE, which went on to win multiple awards — including ‘Best Game’ at Gamescom 2018 and ‘Best in Play’ at GDC 2019. He is the composer of the soundtrack for Due Ci Seu, a documentary co-produced by RAI, the largest public television station in Italy. Notable collaborations include tracks with Moses Concas — winner of Italy’s Got Talent 2016 — and with Tra’zae Clinton, grandson of P-Funk legend George Clinton.
