Tsedeniya Birhanu is an Ethiopian Afropop singer-songwriter known by her stage name Tsedi. She was born and raised in Addis Ababa.
Tsedi’s love for music began very early and she started performing live as a university student in Makelle.
After graduating from university, Tsedi returned to Addis Ababa to perform with different Ethiopian bands and artists.
Her first album was released in September 2019 with her first hits Maneh & Lishenef.
Her lyrics are written mostly in the local Ethiopian language Amharic and are about love, relationships, happiness, friendship and her passion and love for her country.
