TTO

TTO grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and started making music as part of the duo under the name Inver$e in 2015. TTO fell in love with music at an early age but it wasn’t until 2015 that he decided to take it seriously. He and his friends booked a studio session as a joke not realizing what would happen afterwards. After recording his first single, the producer urged him to continue recording more music which motivated him. His first release as a solo act came in 2016 titled “Calling My Phone”. He released his first solo project in December 2018 titled “Panorama”, an EP which he spent a greater part of 2018 working on. TTO spent most of 2020 perfecting and working on his craft, mainly finding his sound & identity, learning how to produce, mix & master.


Describing TTO’s sound isn’t as straightforward. He started out as a rapper before eventually dabbling into multiple genres. He goes a little in depth and says “it’s very hard to describe my sound when people ask me because I hate feeling boxed in. I have a lot of unreleased songs and they all sound different from each other. The top 3 genres I’d most likely use to describe my sound right now are Afro-pop, R&B and alternative rap.”


His main goal with music - to be the biggest artist in the world, not just Africa. He’s very big on manifestation and setting the right goals, it’s just a matter of time now.
