Tulpa is a melodic black metal project with crust influences founded in 2016.
The band concept is about trauma and saṃsāra, the endless cycle of birth and death in pain and sorrow in which all beings are trapped, until they attain enlightenment.
In 2017 Tulpa released their first studio live recorded EP "Fear of Fades" as an independent release and started their live activity.
In 2019, the first full-lenght album "Unhealed" has been published by Talheim Records
In 2022 the band started the recording sessions of their second full-lenght album named "Temple of Wounds".
This second album was published in 2024 by Folter Records.
