Formed from the ashes of Wincolmlee, Turismo initially started life as project follow Baggott’s return from Australia. Having enlisted Hobson and Prest from Wincolmlee on Drums and Guitar, Mike Lines was added on back vocals and rhythm guitar.
Searching for a bassist, Prest worked with Symonds at the Haworth Arms, Hull. Knowing Symonds had previously played drums for <a href="spotify:artist:35IiZtMP1jNfbCE9M2Ymjo" data-name="Reynolds">Reynolds</a> and was a keen acoustic guitarist, rehearsal was arranged.
Finding a mutual appreciation in <a href="spotify:artist:7MhMgCo0Bl0Kukl93PZbYS" data-name="Blur">Blur</a>, the wider influences from the eclectic mix of each member musical taste of the group provides a unique sound.
