Twirl is Huguette Arsenault (AKA Chantal) and Neal Busby, an edgy independent electro rock duo from Toronto fusing post new wave, dark synth with grungy flairs. Other times, they've blended mod-punk with sexy alternative electro Rock. Forgoing the traditional music business model and embracing the DIY philosophy, Twirl have successfully promoted their music to the masses via high profile song placements in Film, Television & advertising campaigns. This exposure has led to hundreds of thousands streams and downloads of their music on itunes around the world.
Prior to forming the group, Neal Busby, in the early 90’s was drummer for Canadian hard rockers SLIK TOXIK. As a contributing songwriter Neal and Slik Toxik went on to achieve GOLD selling status and win a JUNO award for "Hard Rock" album of the year in 1991. In the late 90's Neal was touring drummer for veteran classic rockers APRIL WINE. Later, upon meeting Huguette, the pair found a shared love of Alternative Rock and evolved it into their own post electro punk revival sound.
With 550+ TV shows comprising of over 5000 episodes, Twirl can literally be heard every time you turn on the television and continues to be highly sought out by music supervisors worldwide for their edgy/hip and modern sound.
