TXT (Tinxshe x T5) officially kickstarted their career at the age of 17 with their first ever appearance ‘Plus One’ which ended up reaching over 40,000 + views on Linkup TV in December 2017. At the time both artists had been releasing their music regularly and began gaining interest in the northern and southern regions of the United Kingdom on Soundcloud in late 2016.
 
Neither of them being born in the City of Sheffield (where they met) they both felt deserted and isolated from their origins and through their special friendship created the distinct duo that is TXT.
 
In 2019 the duo main-staged at Liverpool Sound City Festival alongside huge household names such as <a href="spotify:artist:1MIVXf74SZHmTIp4V4paH4" data-name="Mabel">Mabel</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4oDjh8wNW5vDHyFRrDYC4k" data-name="Loyle Carner">Loyle Carner</a> as part of a 6-month project which was also paid for and supported by Levis and Warner Music, and performed in South Korea at the Zandari Festa shortly after being made the header of Noisey's 2019 article on the Levis music project in Liverpool.
 
Now with their music reaching fans in over 70 countries the duo looks to be global icons.
