Tyler James

Tyler James (Geertsma) is a Nashville based producer, songwriter, and designer. He self-released a number of DIY solo recordings in the 2000s before joining <a href="spotify:artist:7giUHu5pv6YTZgSkxxCcgh" data-name="Edward Sharpe &amp; The Magnetic Zeros">Edward Sharpe &amp; The Magnetic Zeros</a> in 2010. James went on to form the band <a href="spotify:artist:13lPIA6TfK28D9nWZJ9HuB" data-name="Escondido">Escondido</a> with songwriter Jessica Maros in 2013. The duo&#39;s debut album, <a href="spotify:album:5y3B2J9840NAzcmATOe5Lb" data-name="The Ghost of Escondido">The Ghost of Escondido</a>, gained critical acclaim and led to an appearance on <a href="spotify:artist:0KTLv2I9l9jF6Nn1vOHxce" data-name="Conan O&#39;Brien">Conan O&#39;Brien</a> and tours with bands like <a href="spotify:artist:6ltzsmQQbmdoHHbLZ4ZN25" data-name="Lord Huron">Lord Huron</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5G49Sq5mMzAkGL4ZP6eVPY" data-name="The Staves">The Staves</a>. His songs and productions have been used in a number of TV shows, ad campaigns, and film soundtracks including HBO’s &#34;Girls&#34;, NBC’s “This Is Us”, and ABC&#39;s &#39;Nashville&#39;. Tyler currently works out of his home studio and tours as the keyboardist &amp; bassist for the band <a href="spotify:artist:7JFtD8KnbAADBBDleIMuH7" data-name="The Lone Bellow">The Lone Bellow</a>.
