Uap Widya

Rr. Widya Ayu Permatasari, better known as Uap Widya, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, and music producer. Born and raised in Indonesia, her journey with music began at the the age of 5 when she first played a musical instrument. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for music, leading her to write songs and hone her craft as a vocalist, and guitarist.

Uap’s professional career took off as the lead vocalist of the band Voiceless & Soulastic (VNS). Beyond music, she also showcased her talent as a radio announcer for Mustang 88 FM, a role she held for four years. In 2018, Uap officially embarked on her solo journey with the release of her debut single. She continued to develop her signature style, blending her love for Soul R&B into a distinct sound that authentically represents her musical identity.

Uap Widya is not only a performer but also a driving force in the Indonesian music industry. She is the founder of WAP Records & music producer at REN, where she nurtures and collaborates with other artists to bring fresh sounds to the scene.
