Ultraboss was founded in Vienna, Austria in 2016 by guitarist and producer PJ d'Atri and was initially an instrumental synthwave/shredwave/electronic music project. After five successful albums leading up to the 2022 LP "Yachtmaster", Ultraboss defined the genre and set a new standard in modern-retro-80s-synthwave-infused-yacht-rock, including blistering guitar solos and mesmerizing vocal performances by phenomenal swedish singer, Robert Beachgrove.
Besides Ultraboss, PJ d'Atri is also guitarist of german 80s-retro-music producer Sebastian Gampl and regularly works with Cody Carpenter on various projects.
He has four instrumental guitar albums available on Spotify under his own name.
