A Western Mass hip-hop pioneer, Unagi started making music back in the 90s, with his crew Discs of Tron. He spent many years in San Francisco, establishing his label 442 Records and working with a wide assortment of underground OGs. He has collaborated with Motion Man, X-Ray (Monsta Island Czars), Infinito 2017, Eddie Meeks, and Kero One, among others. Now based in the deep woods of Colrain, he continues to keep it funky, specializing in nostalgic raps steeped in the golden era tradition.
