As a kid, Swedish musician and producers Johan Svensson dreamt of walking in the footsteps of tennis legend Björn Borg. He spent every minute he could on the tennis court and was dead set on a professional career until music came into his life and changed everything. The racket was replaced by a guitar and the rest is music history. With his blazing guitar skills, Svensson established himself as a force to be reckoned with and gained recognition touring the world with Eagle Eye Cherry and several of his own bands, most notably Straight Frank and Staireo. The latter became a huge success in Japan and Straight Frank has opened for both Deep Purple and Alice Cooper. This virtuous rock viking has no plans on cooling down and with frantic electric guitars and powerhouse drums, Under Earth takes you for one hell of a ride. Gravitating towards post and alternative rock, Svensson explores textures and elements of grunge, metal and indie balancing technique and emotion like few others can.
