As a kid, Swedish musician and producers Johan Svensson dreamt of walking in the footsteps of tennis legend Björn Borg. He spent every minute he could on the tennis court and was dead set on a professional career until music came into his life and changed everything. The racket was replaced by a guitar and the rest is music history. With his blazing guitar skills, Coma established himself as a force to be reckoned with and gained recognition touring the world with Eagle Eye Cherry and several of his own bands, most notably Straight Frank and Staireo. The latter became a massive success in Japan and Straight Frank has opened for both Deep Purple and Alice Cooper.
Under the moniker Coma Svensson, he gathers influences from decades in the rock arena and delivers a gritty rock extravaganza with the confidence of someone in complete sync with his instruments. The nickname Coma was suggested to him by his girlfriend’s ex and well, let’s just say he took it and ran with it.
