Under Siege

Formed in the summer of 2015 in Palestrina, near Rome, Under Siege is a formation born with one simple task: crafting some straightforward headbanging folk metal music. Every single member already had former musical experiences and influences, ranging from black metal to doom or death metal. But it was easy enough to find a common field to play on. Fierce growling vocals, epic melodies and war choirs, bagpipes, strings, tons of raw, heavy guitars. All this elements combined together in a unique atmospheric sound. Under Siege represents the possibility to use music to tell stories of courage and rebellion, tales of lost worlds and journeys to uncharted territories and share memories of fiery drunken nights!
This was the band's goal from the very beginning. During the 2016 the first tracks saw the light and Under Siege performed in several venues in Rome and in its surroundings. In 2017 they recorded their first homonymous album: Under Siege which will be independently released in January 2018. But their hunger for music is unsatisfied: they are already composing new songs and actively searching for new clubs, stages and country to lay siege to.
