Tigilau Ness and his roots reggae band, Unity Pacific are working on their fourth album "The Rhythm of Resistance". They have released three albums; From Street to Sky, Into the Dread and Blackbirder Dread. Tigi received a lifetime achievement award at the Pacific Music Awards in 2009. Unity Pacific won a Tui for the best roots album at the Aotearoa Music Awards in 2016 for “Blackbirder Dread”.
