UPZ is a South African based Producer/DJ. His debut album release was in Japan followed by singles with Strictly Rhythm (“What's The Point”), Defected (“All Out”), Objecktivity (“NoiZ”) & Tony Records.
UPZ also had several chart toppers in South Africa including ”Pure Surprise” which was no.1 nationally, "Uzongilinda" (UPZ remix with Maleh & Qness), "Afrika Wo-man" (with Black Motion), "Love Is Not For Hire" (incl Black Coffee rmx), "Say What U Want" fat Mariechan & Proverb, "Believing" feat Kafele and “A Dream Away” with Sio & Cuebur. He released the album “UPZ: Pioneers of House” via Soul Candi records, South Africa's biggest electronic music label & worldwide via soWHAT Records owned by UPZ. His third album 'Drop It' was released in 2017 via soWHAT Records followed by his compilation "Best of UPZ (2007-2019)" in 2019.
After a 4 year hiatus UPZ has returned with new singles 'Some Lovin' feat Kali Mija, 'Na Wose' & Walking On Water' feat Sofiya Nzau, 'Boom Boom' with Beenie Man and a new alias Fynite focusing on AfroFusion.
