Born Urbain Servranckx in Dilbeek in 1949, Belgian multi-skilled entertainer Urbanus has showcased his unique anarchic and subversive sense of humor across the worlds of comedy, film, music, and comic books. With 14 albums to his name, his biggest musical success occurred in the late '70s and early '80s with the singles "Bakske Vol Met Stro" and "Hittentit," although he reached number two as recently as 2011 with the album Goe Poeier. But he's perhaps best known for his roles in the films Hector, Koko Flanel, and Seventh Heaven and the 100-plus comic books based on an adolescent version of himself he's created with Willy Linthout. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
