Used To Be Cool

Benoit and Jonathan, Used To Be Cool. Two young guys who've been into music since they can remember. They both come from a totally different world of music. Benoit grew up in electronic music and on the other hand Jonathan in the world of reggae and hip hop. They have known each other for 6 years in which they have been involved in music continuously. Their friendship was born from the passion and interest they both shared and of course still share for music Now, at some point, they crawled into the studio together to jam without any purpose. This is the exact moment Used To Be Cool was born. They found a perfect match between their two worlds of music and decided to build on it. In 2019 they decided to finish this jam into a single, "Walking". Throughout their process they often used some vintage instruments such as the Roland Juno 60, Roland Jupiter 8 and the Dave Smith prophet 08. These form a basis for their image which is then again reflected in the name. They both found a feeling for warm vintage sound and since then they have only continued jamming and making music.
