Utrecht is the stage name of James McIntosh, a songwriter, producer, and singer from London. McIntosh started the Utrecht project whilst at university five years ago, releasing “APC” on the indie label Good Years London. Three years of writing and DJing followed, before, in 2017, he released his Next Time EP via Collage Records, featuring the vocals of Tatan. His first live performance came in February of that year, when, backed by full band, he played a packed out Pickle Factory in London. In November 2017, and having made the transition to frontman, he released the techno-pop “Live Underground”, before in 2018 the Make it happen EP. Early 2019 sees him about to release a series of singles, starting with Numbers.
