Uzaysız is an alternative rock band from Istanbul, formed by brothers Araz and Faraz. The two had been writing songs together for years, with their earliest experiences in songwriting and making music tracing back to their hometown, Tabriz, Iran. For a long time, they searched for a sound that draws inspiration from the raw energy of ’90s rock, blending the grit of grunge with the melodic sensibilities of Britpop.
After crossing paths with acclaimed Iranian producer and guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:2VC7rpOavT6815DYw2Lgh7" data-name="Milad Adl">Milad Adl</a> in Istanbul, they began recording as a band, with Araz on vocals, Faraz on guitar, and Milad on bass and guitar. Through experimenting with different recording and production techniques, the band poured years of obsession into crafting every riff and melody to achieve a unique, raw, and unpolished sound.
Uzaysız made their live debut under the name Karaburan at the 24th Roxy Müzik Günleri finals. Their first single, Sakin Sular, challenges the mainstream; it evokes freedom, hope, and uncontainable energy through riffs and melodies. Written, produced, mixed, and mastered in-house by Uzaysız, this debut is both a declaration of their dream and an invitation to join them on their sonic journey!
