ASAD was born in Los Angeles,Ca. where music was every bit apart of his life since the beginning of time. At age 10 years old He moved to Atlanta, Ga. where He was raised for the most important years of His life. He started out free-styling powerful lyrics and by age 16 almost 17 he began to take His music journey serious and to a whole new level.
ASAD's inspiration has come from the roots of Legends within his family such as, his Grandfather "Ali Woodson" a member of the Legendary "Temptations", His GodFather "Teddy Riley" the musical Genius behind Michael Jackson Music along with so many greatest Hits and His sister "Gizzle" a well known singer-songwriter who has worked side by side with "Diddy", "Fiasco", "B.O.B.", "Ty Dolla Sign", "Kanye West" (Co-Writer on "Real Friends") and many more.
ASAD had his first major Feature produced by "Wyclef" and that music video alone has 3 Million + views with appearances on BET, MTV + LA FITNESS screens. While ASAD was interning at ATLANTIC RECORDS as an A&R in their studios as w writer 7 producer. He sealed one producer his first hit "Lil Bebe" by DaniLeigh at age 18 and started working with "Womack" who produced for "2 Chains", "600 Breezy", "Sada Baby", "Ty Dolla Sign", "Tylayaweh", "Marqus Clay" to name a few.
The most influential person in ASAD's Life who paid for His first studio session and told Him to really do music and do it with all His heart is "BOBBY BROWN JR." RIP the son of Legend "Bobby Brown"!
