Vails is an electronic musician from England, who made a name for himself with 2013’s body jacking slice of analog techno, ‘Beaster’, released via A-Traks influential label Fools Gold. Rekindling the project in 2022, Vails returns with a new EP, Elysian Fields. Having relocated to Los Angeles in 2016, his latest music carries new cinematic and atmospheric influences, but holds onto all the dark, thumping and analogue hallmarks Vails is known for.

Recorded across 3 months at Principle Pleasure Studios in Los Angeles and drawing on influences such as John Carpenter, The Art of Noise, and Decius, Elysian Fields is an imaginary soundtrack for a midnight drive through East Los Angeles. The EP is due for release in 2022 via Subtle Energy.
