Vallens is the Toronto-based project of Robyn Phillips, joined by co-producer Devon Henderson. Their music blends shadowy rock, cinematic dream pop, and trip-hop. The debut "Consent", featuring guitar from Psychic TV’s Jeffrey Berner, introduced their immersive sound, which evolved on 2021’s "In Era" with post-punk, downtempo, and trip-hop textures. Vallens has performed at Wavelength, NXNE, and M for Montreal, and opened for Psychic TV, U.S. Girls, Wire, Orville Peck, Speedy Ortiz, TOPS, A Place to Bury Strangers, and Ought.
