Nu-boy band Varsity Fanclub make dance-oriented pop and R&B influenced by such icons of the genre as <a href="spotify:artist:6O74knDqdv3XaWtkII7Xjp">Boyz II Men</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2iE18Oxc8YSumAU232n4rW">the Jackson 5</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:5rSXSAkZ67PYJSvpUpkOr7">Backstreet Boys</a>. Formed around 2006 out of a rigorous audition process, Varsity Fanclub feature the talents of vocalist/dancers Thomas Fiss, Jayk Purdy, Drew Ryan Scott, Bobby Edner, and David Lei Brandt. The group has posted several tracks on its MySpace page, including the band's debut single, the <a href="spotify:artist:4we5S2VLjgY9KzIzApL1KI">Ryan Tedder</a>-penned "Future Love."
