Frankfurt electronic producer V.B.Kühl realised his own musical vision and ambition when he inherited his first boombox and bought a four-track cassette recorder. This was the start of a journey, that's still going on. V.B.Kühl caught the attention of DJ Shadow with two stellar remixes, which would later lead to commissioned remixes by Tru Thoughts for acts such as Anchorsong, Lakuta and sub_modU. He produced two extraordinary albums with Gnawa master Rabii Harnoune and released music on Nervous Records, Afrinative Soul and Jisul.
