PROFILE
Victor is a recording artist, teacher, composer, director and author- not necessarily in that order. From string quartets, musicals, novels and even to short films he embodies the new digital age of the modern artist. His continuing study of world cultures gives his art an added edge and depth. After having studied piano for ten years he then attended the prestigious California Institute of the Arts, where he studied composition, film making and Indian music.
Spiegel continued his music education earning a BA at the University of California and an Master of Arts in Music Composition from Mills College.
His singular piano works are a fusion of lush harmonies and rhythms of jazz, classical and influences from India, Japan, Indonesia, Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. He continues to score for film, games, television, theater, dance and other media.
Victor is currently a music lecturer at Sydney’s JMC Academy.
