Viktoria first achieved instant celebrity status in the Philippines when her hip, stylish music video "Sasabihin Ko Na " hit the MTV Asia airwaves. From then on, she became a cult, an icon, an image idolized by Manila's young and restless. Her initial triumph was soon followed by the success of two other music videos "Dahan Dahan” and "Tender Kisses". Being the pioneer of Philippine music videos, Viktoria has been crowned "MTV Queen" by Philippine media.

Viktoria is truly a breakthrough artist who has amazed even the stringent critics. Her albums spawned numerous hit singles such as “Dahan Dahan”, "Pwede Ba", and “To Be Near You “ , the hit single from the Soundtrack of the Hollywood TV series “Felicity”.

She has gained international status as an artist with her songs released outside the Philippines as Hollywood TV and movie producers had included her songs in their soundtracks.Her song "Dangerous" was included in the soundtrack of the tv series "Dawson's Creek" and "What If" was in the soundtrack of the Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck film "Bounce".

She had also performed in Hong Kong with artist such as Aqua and had been a part of a major music event attended by artists such as Debbie Harry, Rick Price, Tina Arena to name a few.
