VIMMA is indie rock with violins. Their songs explore what it feels like to witness the destruction of our planet—and what can be done about it. The band’s music is the soundtrack of its activist members' lives: wild adventures, melancholic moments, or simply good tunes.
In the spring of 2025, Vimma will release their third album, featuring two singles: Pestään kädet and Tarviin. Their previous album, Tornadon silmässä, was released in October 2023 and earned the band an Emma Award nomination in the Critics’ Choice category. Vimma’s debut album, Meri ja avaruus (2019), is a progressive concept album.
