Vinson Fraley is a New York City–based multimedia artist, born in Statesville, NC, and raised in Atlanta, GA. His work exists where voice, movement, and image converge, dissolving boundaries between the sacred and sensual, the ephemeral and eternal. Trained in voice and drama before embracing dance, his practice is one of intimacy, ritual, and transformation—whether on stage, in a gallery, or through the lens.
Fraley’s collaborations span across disciplines with visionaries like Anne Imhof, Sterling Ruby, Mario Sorrenti, Carrie Mae Weems, Boys Noize, Terri Lyne Carrington, Madonna, Kyle Abraham, Damien Jalet, and Bill T. Jones. His work has graced the spaces of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center, and Arts at CERN. His image and movement have been captured by Apple, Calvin Klein, and featured on the covers of numerous magazines, including V Magazine. He has also appeared in major theatrical venues and campaigns.
Venturing into music as a singer-songwriter, Fraley has teamed up with Boys Noize , Frank Wiedemann & Keinemusik . His sound blends electronic music, soul, progressive R&B, pop, and avant-garde sonics into a genre-defying whole. Music, like his movement, becomes both a vessel and an extension of his singular artistic vision.
