Copenhagen based trumpeter Lars Vissing is a musical chameleon and the producer of VINTAGE FIVE.
As a trumpet player he shared stages with names like; Toots Thielemans, Dianne Reeves, Curtis Stigers, Lee Konitz and the last 8 years with The Danish soul act Lukas graham.
As a producer he has been working with Anders Trentemøller, and his own band “Povo”, a dance floor based jazz project that was fast discovered by British DJ and BBC radiohost, Gilles Peterson.
Povo worked on several jazz remixes with names like, Nostalgia 77, Emo and Les Gammas, Moonstarr and Nicola conte
The music of Povo can be found on numerous jazz compilations such as, Jazz heat Bongobeat, Inside Scandinavia, Jazz Flora, Jazztronik, BBC Radio 1 Worldwide Vol.2 Gilles Peterson and Wicked Jazz Sounds.
