Violence is composed of the multi-instrumentalist and cult figure Olin Caprison. Known for their overwhelming and enchanting live performances, through pop and grime beats with harsh noise and synth-pop melodies Violence creates complex soundscapes that result in emotional extremes, from dread and fear to elation and ecstasy. This sound has allowed them to introduce festivals, art museums, and underground clubs to sounds hitherto unheard, and unfelt, in those spaces prior.
Violence began in 2010, their first release as part of longtime affiliate Total Freedoms' Blasting Voice for Teenage Teardrops.
