Viva Monsta was born James Robert Ross (November 24,1990) in Fredericksburg Virginia.
As a child he loved love with music and idolized Micheal Jackson. Viva started writing poems and songs as a teen to express pains and views of his difficult adolescence life. He found inspiration in artist such as Tupac ,lil Wayne, Jayz, . He recorded his first song in 2007, it is at that moment that Viva Monsta realized his love for the music. His eagerness to rap and sing would lead him to his first distribution deal with Universal Records in 2010. Performing in various clubs, showcases and fashion shows in several states. Viva Monsta would later decide to go fully independent and open up for industry artist such as Kirko bangz, Fetty Wap, in 2017 opened up for Ashanti, Asap Ferg at shaggfest Virginia Beach V.A and many more. Viva would later take a break from music after the untimely death of his older brother Charles only to return in 2020 dropping projects such as “broken silence” , “Monsta” , and “Before I slide” . Viva is currently working on more music including new sound of [ Dembow.]
