They say that good ideas come from moments of leisure or when we have nothing to do.
Although all idle praise may be questionable, it was in this peaceful environment that in 2006
friends Jaja Cardoso (guitar and vocals) Luca Bori (bass and vocals) created the Band Vivendo do Ócio, a name inspired by creative leisure. Today the band also includes Davide Bori (guitar) and
Gabriel Burgos (drums).
Influenced by modern and classic rock n' roll fused with Brazilian music.
Winner of "Gas Sound", a Rede TV competition with almost 3,000 bands registered, Vivendo
do Ócio quickly showed an original music style which arouse great interest.
One year after, the band won the MTV BRASIL AWARDS Aposta / Vídeo Music Brasil . At this
occasion, the band made its big debut on a national scale whilst performing together with artists
such as Franz Ferdinand, Erasmo Carlos and Pitty.
Participating on television programs like MTV, PLAY TV, CULTURA and TV GLOBO, RECORD
TV keeping the title of the most interesting band in Brazil.
