Winner of the Nadia Reisenberg award for pianists in New York City (2010); laureate of international piano competitions in Mexico, Unites States, Canada and Ukraine; a noted soloist and chamber musician, Vlada Vassilieva performs at prestigious concert venues in North-America, Europe and Asia. She was the first soloist to perform Scriabin's Prometheus, Poem of Fire, in Mexico. Audience and critics alike appreciate her mature performances, impetuous character and stage presence.
Founding member of award-winning ensemble Duo Petrof (2003) with Anatoly Zatin, she is a Petrof Art Family member, Co-President of WPTA Piano Duo, and member of the International Academy of Performing Arts and Sciences.
She studied with Pavilna Dokovska at Mannes College for Music in New York City as Fulbright grantee, and previously with Anatoly Zatin at the University of Colima in Mexico. Since 2006 Vlada Vassilieva is on faculty at the Music Department of the University of Colima. In 2015-2018 she served as guest faculty at the National Music Conservatory in Mexico. Her students are winners of national and international music competitions.
