VLTOR emerged in 2016, born from the need to merge Pagan Black metal with a concept of Folk that goes outside the canons of traditional music, giving everything a strongly Italian/Mediterranean imprint. The central nucleus of the lyrics, written in Italian, centers around the celebration of the past, of religion, and of the virtues of Roman Pagan Italy.
The first EP entitled "Odi" - released in 2019 - wanted to give voice to the spirit and feelings of our Roman and Italic ancestors, the warrior people par excellence, celebrating their belligerent nature, their gravitas and their sense of honor.
"Non Auro Sed Ferro" is the first full-length, out next autumn on Dusktone. The compositional style present in the eleven tracks is more mature and personal, the pagan vein is in the foreground both in the use of traditional instruments and in the guitar riffs and rhythms. The theme of Roman/Italic paganism is central and in-depth, depicted in its two-faced nature, bloody and profoundly moral at the same time, in accordance with the same spirit that we will not stop celebrating.
