Three men from different backgrounds were unexpectedly able to create a very honest music and they called themselves as <a href="spotify:artist:2FeD8lr1g9kyAaR6JsGTKR" data-name="VNIX">VNIX</a>. <a href="spotify:artist:2FeD8lr1g9kyAaR6JsGTKR" data-name="VNIX">VNIX</a> is a rock band from South Jakarta, consisting of <a href="spotify:artist:3dOppUYV1X5wRumX0odsE7" data-name="Abbel Syarief">Abbel Syarief</a> (Guitar / Vocal), Viero Sadam (Bass), and <a href="spotify:artist:0E7e9JsNEXjJ608E1MJnvh" data-name="Rifqi FTR">Rifqi FTR</a> (Drum / Vocal). Back in 2017, <a href="spotify:artist:3dOppUYV1X5wRumX0odsE7" data-name="Abbel Syarief">Abbel Syarief</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0E7e9JsNEXjJ608E1MJnvh" data-name="Rifqi FTR">Rifqi FTR</a>, and Viero was part of an indie rock band called Sullivan. <a href="spotify:artist:3dOppUYV1X5wRumX0odsE7" data-name="Abbel Syarief">Abbel Syarief</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0E7e9JsNEXjJ608E1MJnvh" data-name="Rifqi FTR">Rifqi FTR</a> was on the band since 2016 before they met Viero in 2017 and the three of them left the band on April 2018. After a quite long journey with Sullivan, they formed up a three men band with the name Pure Wonder and agreed to change their name to <a href="spotify:artist:2FeD8lr1g9kyAaR6JsGTKR" data-name="VNIX">VNIX</a> lately. They released their debut single called <a href="spotify:album:0YKxLbkMljd9OMOkCxdTzK" data-name="Ready To Go">Ready To Go</a> on 4 August 2018, a punk-rock version of <a href="spotify:artist:3dOppUYV1X5wRumX0odsE7" data-name="Abbel Syarief">Abbel Syarief</a>’s debut country single.


Because of their dazzling performances throughout 2018, they were entrusted to represent their high school in one of the largest band festivals. However, they didn’t get enough support from their school. They didn&#39;t expect much at the time, but it turned out that they had made it to the grand final and became the top 10 bands of Pucuk Cool Jam Festival 2018. That’s where their journey began.
