After subsequently releasing their EP EVIL AGAINST EVIL in 2017 and their debut record BIKINI SEASON in 2019 the foursome switched gears only to solidify the chaos that informs their music. The result is a new EP called ‘PHEROMONE TRAILS’. If a daring individual follows the pheromone trails, they are thrown head first into a teeming swarm of the rawest, ugliest aspects of humanity. Masked in arthropod imagery.
PHEROMONE TRAILS lays it all bare for the listener to witness, writhing guts and antennae included. VONNIS’ taste for violent confrontation leaves none unscathed from their acerbic tongue. Even the self is not spared. If anything, the internal lies and hypocrisy buried deep are the first to be subjected to excision.
