Vøvk is a progressive rock and post-hardcore band from Kyiv, Ukraine, known for blending raw energy, chaos, and surreal storytelling. Their music strikes with heavy riffs, odd time signatures, and vocals that shift from fragile whispers to raw screams. It’s poetic without pretension, heavy without oppression – music that speaks through texture and emotion more than words.
The band’s history includes two European tours, numerous charity concerts, performances on Ukraine’s underground stages, and appearances at festivals such as Faine Misto, Gogolfest, Winter Mass VI, Barrockko Fest, Rock’n’Buh, Respublica, Impulse Fest, Electric Meadow, and Kazka Family Fest.
Vøvk’s discography features the album 'Lair' (nominated for Best Heavy Album of the Year by the Best Ukrainian Metal Act Awards) and a cover of DakhaBrakha’s song 'Sho Z-Pod Duba'. Their highly acclaimed new album 'Litera' features Johannes Persson of Cult of Luna, one of Europe’s most influential post-metal bands.
Vøvk’s songs are featured in the official soundtrack of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
