Vox Portent is an electronic music producer/DJ from Johannesburg South Africa whose style of music varies from downtempo chillwave to uplifting electronica, blending synth heavy keys with light ambience to create a range of emotions. Vox started producing music at the age of 15 after being involved with an idea of a metal band with his brother that used the name Vox Portent. Vox released his first album titled lucid in 2014 which was heavily inspired by artists Felix Laband and Bonobo. This release was followed by two EP's in 2015 titled 'Measures' and 'Action Through Inaction' which explored more avenues for the artist but still complimented the sound of Lucid. 2016 brought about a new direction for Vox with the release of 'Youth' which reflects the past releases and journey for Vox in the music industry.
