Mihajlo Veruović, better known as Voyage, has spent the last few years taking Eastern Europe’s music scene by storm. With nearly 2 million Instagram and TikTok followers and over 1.5 billion streams, Voyage’s ascent from local sensation to global star is just getting started.

In just a few years, Voyage has shared stages with some of Europe’s biggest acts and caught the attention of fashion heavyweights. His invitation to Paris Fashion Week from designer Mike Amiri solidified his presence beyond music. Voyage's blend of infectious beats and a multilingual flow has cemented him as one of the most cross-culturally relevant artists to emerge from Eastern Europe.

But his road to stardom was anything but smooth. Growing up in New Belgrade, Voyage’s childhood was marked by violence and upheaval. His father, a bodyguard to Serbia’s assassinated prime minister Zoran Djindjić, narrowly saved his life during a deadly altercation when he was just a baby. After that close call, his family moved to France, where he spent much of his youth before returning to Serbia as a teen. Tragedy struck again when he witnessed the death of a close friend, pushing him toward street life and the brink of destruction.

His music career has since exploded to levels rarely seen in the Balkans.
