Wacky Southern Current (WSC) started in 2008 as a home recording project for Marco Cervellin, who compose, plays all instruments and records in the Italian countryside.
He is sometimes supported by fellow musician Gianni Garbo on guitar.
WSC has released several albums of mainly instrumental, mid/down tempo music, which features various influences such as kraut-rock, jazz, ambient and post-classical sounds.
In 2017 Cervellin teamed up with singer Nicola Zanatta to craft an album of chamber-pop tinged dark ballads.
