Formed in 2011, Waft are the culmination of perseverance through like-minded souls. The trials of life often mark their songs, with varied shades of light and dark. In 2015, Chronolith was released, an ode to stoner, doom and sludge metal gods that came before. Now, in 2018, The Blood of the Coven Is Thicker Than Water of the Womb -- a split with local brothers WVRM has been released. The two song dive into mental hell, showcases the progression that the band has taken, while still honoring it's roots.
