Waking Grunt

Amit Jaiwant Naik, better known by his stage name "WAKING GRUNT" (born on 25 April 1991), is an Indian rapper, Singer, Lyricists from Goa, India. Started as a parody Konkani YouTube Channel and rose to fame after creating social awareness songs and Music Videos in English, Konkani and Hindi Some of the famous tracks are "The Pappu Song", "The Matka Anthem", "Stop Child Labour", "Kaddyaan Podlo", "Mog Zala Maka" by Alison Gonsalves Ft. Waking Grunt and "Boll" by Amlein Ft. Waking Grunt.

'Waking Grunt' most notably contributed for the FIlm Director Swapnil Shetkar's Konkani Film "Questao De Confusao" with the promotional song. Which had its commercial release in Goa. Later collaborated with Film Director Milroy Goes from Goa for the Film "WELCOME M1LL10NS" which featured audio snippet of "Khaddyaan Podlo" Konkani Parody song and the Film was released in Los Angeles United States of America and also contested at 91st Academy Awards.
