Veteran musicians Crystal Lariza (Never Come Down, winners of the prestigious 2019 RockyGrass Festival) and Troy Welstad (<a href="spotify:artist:1KCSPY1glIKqW2TotWuXOR" data-name="P!nk">P!nk</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5dTYaRzOn4rXGBLH052EeQ" data-name="A Fine Frenzy">A Fine Frenzy</a>) have teamed up in a fresh take on folk pop. Crystal's honest and beautiful vocals are stunning and draw you in while being supported with a myriad of orchestration and production by Welstad. The band co-writes and co-produces most all their songs together in a uniquely collaborative style. Crystal and Troy first did some co-writes back in 2018 at some songwriter camps around Portland, OR. The unlikely pairing of Crystal's raw style with Troy's pop influenced production / writing sparked an original sound and started a collaboration and friendship that became Wallflower People.
