Few musicians in the techno scene work to sound like no other, Wallis is one of them.
Producer, live-act and DJ, Wallis constantly pushes her music to new realms, ever searching for novelty in a music genre that sometimes struggles to reinvent itself.
A very prolific producer, she sets to play a majority of her own unreleased music when she DJs. Her live sets are personal, driven and playful.
Using music production as her emotional outlet, she gets very personal through her music, each release having a whole storyline behind it. From the track names, to the EP covers, to the poem engravings she writes on records: there is always a deep artistic concept behind every release. Not only music serves to portray her emotions in a release: she sees the whole music product as a form of art in itself.
She sometimes organises livestreams on instagram, jamming live in her very-full music studio with her audience. A decade long obsession of accumulating equipment, with each new machine leading the way to new music.
She has toured to world and will happily play at a large stage one day but at a small intimate sweaty basement the next, performing in the world’s favorite techno clubs such as Berghain, Basement NYC and Vent Tokyo, as well as renowned festivals like Sonar, Parklife, Nuit Sonores, to name only a few. She recently produced the music for the Natasha Zinko runway show at London Fashion Week.
