Wanderers, Adelaide’s finest purveyors of genre-defying vintage sounds, are on the cusp of their biggest year to date. Comprising Dusty Lee (guitar/vocals), Matt Birkin (drums), Milush Piochaud (bass), and Logan Watt and Jack Strempel (both keyboards/backing vocals), Wanderers have spent years crafting their multi-coloured sound, drawing upon a love for vintage rock and soul to not only sell out shows in their local South Australia, but to bring their powerful live show to the US, UK, and Europe.
The bands eclectic sounds have seen them appear on American television, chart on the US College Radio charts, and even take home four honours at the South Australian Music Awards. However, when they’re not touring the country and converting new fans, they’re hard at work on new music. With their forthcoming album on track to arrive in coming months, Wanderers are set to take things to the next level.
Equal parts theatrical and immersive, Wanderers’ newest collection of music feels as good as it sounds, and is the product of a group firing on all cylinders. Their first release since 2022’s self-titled EP, their debut album will see Wanderers bringing their myriad talents to audiences around the country, with a forthcoming live album also set to showcase their talents on the live stage.
